Francisco González Medrano has a Master in Science degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and was full time researcher at the Instituto de Biología (Biology Institute) of UNAM until 2002. He was titular professor of several classes including Natural Ecosystems and Environmental Restoration items. He has written more than 40 works, three of which they have been awarded by the Botanical Society of Mexico, the Annual Prize Banamex in the Farming field and the Commission of Studies of the National Territory (today INEGI). It has directed 40 theses, three of which they have been awarded and gave more than 40 Seminaries of Undergraduate Research at the UNAM and UAM Universities. Mr. González Medrano is actually and external advisor of several Governmental agencies and Research Centers for Vegetation Classification and Resource Management.
Sachiko Chiriguchi Murayama is a Biologist from the Mexico Autonomous National University (UNAM). She has 20 years of experience in environmental studies; among the most relevant are Environmental Impact Statements for high tension electric lines, highways and tourism developments; environmental audits for public transport lines, for the Mexico City Airport Terminal 2 and for the Morelia-Lazaro Cárdenas highway; ecologic ordinance studies and environmental diagnosis,; management programs for natural protected areas and ecotourism projects. Mrs. Chiriguchi participates as an environmental impact expert on the Perform of an Expert System project at the Instrument center of the UNAM.
| Jorge Palacios Lobato is an Industrial Biochemical Engineer from the Autonomous Metropolitan University, campus Iztapalapa and has a Master degree on Chemical Engineering from the same institution. Mr. Palacios is a PROFEPA´s certified Environmental Auditor on Hazardous Wastes and candidate to ISO14000 Leader Auditor from the ANSI-RAB (American National Standards Institute-Registrar Accreditation Board). Since 1992, Mr. Palacios have been working with Environmental Site Assessments, due diligences, risk studies, accident prevention programs as well as environmental impact assessments for a wide variety of companies. He has experienced in contaminants dispersion models, as well as fire, explosion and spills consequences models such as SCRII, DEGADIS, ARCHIE, ALOHA and PHAST.
